Summer's here!! Which means WE OUTSIDEEEEEEE. In order to be properly be outside this summer, you will need to make sure that your sneaker collection is refreshed and ready for all of your fits. I don't know about y'all, but I plan on spending my money on the most affordable sneakers I can find (I might splurge here and there but hey, YOLO right?). But anyways, who says you can't look good without breaking the bank? With the help of some of my Scholars, I came up with a list of sneakers under $100 that everyone needs in their closets this summer.
Air Force 1 '07, $90
How could you possibly be outside without a pair of classic AF1s? Everybody from little babies to grandmas wear these. If you don't have these, you're missing out. This is truly the sneaker made for all. They literally go with almost everything, and have been such a staple in sneaker culture since basically the beginning of time. You can wear these with shorts, dresses, jeans, pants, and pretty much anything you have in your closet. You can find these anywhere from the actual Nike store to ASOS. You can even customize your own pair on Nike.com.Go get you a pair now!
Puma Mayze Leather, $90
People really be sleeping on Puma and I don't know why. I used to wear Puma when I was younger, and I used to dog them things alllll the way out because they were such reliable shoes. These are labeled as a women's sneaker and are carried in sizes US 6-10. I personally don't own these, but I think they are fire. I love me a classic white and black shoe especially because these have a platform. The platform makes them look different from the rest and will also give you some height. I would wear these with any oversized bottom or tube socks and some shorts. There is a lot you can do with this shoe. You can buy these at Champs, Footaction, and the Puma Store, of course.
Samba OG 'White Black Gum', $60-70*
For all my peoples with bad backs and sensitive feet just like me, this is the shoe for you. This shoe has a soft, gum, rubber outsole which is perfect for support. These shoes definitely give me a vintage vibe. These are becoming more popular after rappers, A$AP Nast and A$AP Rocky were seen wearing them. And if you keep up with those two, you know they always put that sh*t on! I would wear these shoes with some straight leg pants or some shorts. You can never go wrong with a pair of classic Adidas. These are available for purchase at Footaction, Finish Line, and GOAT.

Nike Blazer Mid '77, $80-100*
These might be my favorite shoe of the summer. I just got my first pair a couple of weeks ago, and they are pretty comfortable. I love how they come in different colors (even the swoosh color is different for a lot of pairs). I have seen everybody wear these and they mau or may not become the next Air Force 1s. That may be a stretch....but still. Everybody will have a pair of these in their closet by December. It's stamped. The style of these shoes gives off a very laid back and chill vibe but still makes it look like you put effort in to your outfit. I plan on wearing these with a baggy graphic t-shirt/bodysuit, shorts, tube socks, maybe a flannel (depends on the weather), tote bag, and a trucker hat. Simple but still stylish. Besides Nike, you can purchase these at Finish Line, Foot Locker, Hibbett Sports, and Snipes USA.

Nike Women's Daybreak, $60-90*
These are perfect for any woman that is always on the go and values comfort while looking cute. Although these shoes are casual, they are perfect for adding some flare to any outfit. These come in so many different colors, so they are perfect for a multitude of outfits. I could possibly see myself purchasing these one day in the future. I would wear these with suits, athleisure sets, and even some dresses. The price is one you can't beat and I see these sneakers being popular for years to come. Besides Nike, you can purchase these at Hibbett Sports, Finish Line, Foot Locker, JD Sports, and ASOS.

Reebok Club C, $69-80*
Everybody needs a pair of sneakers that they can throw on and go. These shoes have been around forever and are quickly reemerging on the sneaker scene. They definitely give me that classic vintage feel which I feel like makes these so special. These shoes are classics and go with pretty much anything. I've seen people with styles, girly to streetwear style these shoes. Although they are pretty basic, they are a staple in any outfit they are worn in. I have never owned a pair of Reeboks before, but I am definitely purchasing these soon! Besides, Reebok, you can purchase these at PacSun, ASOS, Tillys, and Zappos.com.

Nike Cortez, $60-90*
I have been meaning to get my hands on a pair of these for ever. My little sister has the white ones with the black swoosh and they literally go with everything. A lot of people at my school wear these, and I love seeing the way my classmates style them (shout A&T Aggie Prideeee!!). I usually see girls wear these with fitted dresses (the fits would be even flyer with a fitted and a flannel), and guys with shorts and a flannel. The shape of these shoe are definitely different which makes them stand out from any other white sneaker. I recommend every one grab a pair of these as soon as possible. Besides Nike, you can purchase these at Hibbett Sports, Finish Line, Champs, and even Macy's.

Canvas Platform Chuck Taylor All Star, $70
You can never go wrong with a pair of chucks. I have these in purple, white, and black leopard print and I love them. My little sister has these and she wears them with everything. Not only do they give you some height, but they also make you stand out in the crowd because these are not a normal pair of Converse. Side note: Do y'all remember the black high top chucks that laced up all the way to your knees? Only the OG fashionistas had those, and I am proud to say I was one of them in middle school. Anyways, you can style these with dresses, skirts, shorts, and even a basic pair of jeans. They also carry these in white, and customers have the option to customize a pair. I will definitely be buying these before it’s time to go back to school. Besides Converse, you can purchase these at DSW, Ssense.com, and Zappos.com.
If you have purchased any of these shoes or plan on purchasing them let me know! If you post any fit pics in the shoes mentioned be sure to tag @Scholardrip.
